Rental Requirements and General Qualifications

Take the Sky Connect to the consolidated car rental facility. NextCar is located on level 4 where the train drops off. Make a left as you exit the train, go past Hertz, then make a right, we are behind Sixt and Fox car rental in that hallway.

PAYLATER POLICY: After 2HR From PickUp Time the reservation will be a NO SHOW STATES and it will be Canceled.

Prepaid Reservation Terms and Conditions:

Your card will be charged for the total cost of this reservation when you reserve your car.

Please NOTE:  Prepaid Debit Cards are not accepted at this location.  Only bank issued debit cards are accepted. 

Prepaid terms and Conditions

1. The credit/debit card used to reserve the pay now rate must be in the renter's name and must be provided to NextCar at the time of rental. The name on the credit card must match the driver's name.
2. At the time of rental, you MUST produce the same credit card you paid online and valid driver's license in your name. 
3. Your card will be charged for the total cost of this reservation when you reserve your car. The security deposit for the vehicle will be charged when you pick up the vehicle.
4. PREPAID debit cards are not accepted at this location. (NetSpend, Bluebird, AMEX Serve,Chase Liquid, Movo, RushCard, etc)  We gladly accept bank issued debit cards.    

Physical Damage Coverage is required and must be provided by one of the following:

1. Your personal auto policy with collision coverage. Verification required.
2. Your credit card's 'Rental Vehicle Coverage'. Verification required.
3. Your purchase of the Collision/Physical Damage Waiver.
4. We require insurance verification as part of the rental process. Your insurance must be paid in advance for 30 days beyond the pick up date of the vehicle, with a deductible of $1,000 or less.  See our complete rental requirements here for more information.

Prepaid Reservation will be honored untill the END OF BUSINESS DAY TILL 9PM (from the scheduled pick up day). After that it will be Canceled and NO REFUND.

Up to two additional drivers may be added to the rental agreement. A fee of $12.99 per day, plus applicable taxes, will be charged for each additional driver.

Follow NEXTCAR return signs to level 3, park the vehicle at the return lane, take all your personal belongings from the vehicle, and then drop the key in the drop box drawer at the NEXTCAR return booth.

To rent a vehicle, customers must provide coverage for physical damage to the rental vehicle. This can be done in one of three ways:
Using your personal auto insurance
Using a credit card that provides rental vehicle coverage
Purchasing optional coverage at the rental counter

Customers may use their own collision and comprehensive insurance, which must be verified at the rental counter.

At pickup, customers must present:

Their insurance ID card, and
Their insurance declaration page, or show the information in their mobile insurance app
The name and address on the insurance must match the primary renter.

The policy must include collision and liability coverage and meet Florida state minimum requirements.

Insurance must be issued by a U.S. insurance company. We accept providers such as:
State Farm, Liberty Mutual, GEICO, Progressive, USAA, Esurance, Farmers, Nationwide, Allstate, Infinity, Travelers, and AAA.

Insurance from Puerto Rico, Canada, or any other country outside the United States is not accepted.

Security deposits are based on the customer’s insurance deductible and may range from $250 to $2,500.

Using Credit Card Coverage:
Some major credit cards offer rental vehicle coverage. If customers plan to use credit card coverage:

The coverage must be verified at the time of rental
The entire rental must be paid with the same credit card
A $2,500 security deposit will apply

Optional Coverage Available for Purchase: If customers prefer not to use their own insurance or credit card coverage, they may purchase coverage at the counter.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW):
$24.99 per day + tax — $500 deductible
$18.99 per day + tax — $1,000 deductible
$14.99 per day + tax — $2,000 deductible

Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI):
$14.99 per day + tax
Provides up to $1,000,000 in third-party liability coverage

Full Coverage Package (CDW + SLI)

Full coverage is only available for customers using a major credit card. It is not available for debit card customers or local renters.

$42.99 per day + tax — $1,000 deductible
$36.99 per day + tax — $2,000 deductible

Domestic one-way rentals are available for an additional fee ranging from $48.15 to $138.03 plus tax, depending on the drop-off location. Please note that vehicles are only permitted to be driven within the state of Florida.

Additionally, rental vehicles cannot be used for any commercial purposes. This includes rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft, delivery services like Uber Eats, Postmates, or Instacart, or any other type of delivery or transportation service.

The following payment methods are accepted: MasterCard, Visa, Diners, Discover. American Express.

It is necessary to present a valid credit card in the rental office in the name of the main driver to pre-authorize or charge the deposit amount.

Deposit $150 Up to $1,000 due at time of pickup, it matches your deductible with your comprehensive and collision coverages.

The vehicle fuel policy is back-to-back if we are provided with a full tank, it must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges. If the car is returned with a lesser amount of fuel, a refueling charge of $7.99/gallon will be charged.

Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee of $12.99 plus tax per day applies to drivers under the age of 25.
Maximum rental age is 74 years.
A senior driver fee of $9.99 plus tax per day applies to drivers aged 70 and above.

To pick up the car, the following documents are required: a valid driver's license, a credit in the main driver's name. Customers from outside of the US may be asked to show a Passport or ID card.

Miscellaneous Charges
 Missing Key: from $450.00
 Each extra hour after due time will be $24.99, after the 4th hour will be a charge of a full day rate plus what was charged before.
 Missing booster seat: $100.00
 Missing GPS: $140.00
 Missing Gas: $7.99 per gallon.
 Cleaning and Smoking fee: flat rate of $250.00
 Payment of Tolls and Infractions, plus an administrative fee of up to $50.00 for EACH Toll or Infraction incurred during the rental period.
 You authorize us to: process separate payment card charges in your name for all amounts due us including parking tickets, red light tickets plus administrative fee up to $99.00, also for the repair of the damage to our vehicle (if any).
